Acknowledgements

The Financial Management Toolkit is a work-in-progress that would not have been possible but for the contributions of following foundations, groups, and individuals:

We gratefully acknowledge CompassPoint Non-Profit Services and the Amherst H. Wilder Foundation for their generous contributions of material for this project.

CompassPoint Nonprofit Services is a consulting, research, and training organization providing nonprofits with management tools, strategies, and resources to lead change in their communities. They specialize in assisting community-based nonprofits with issues such as executive transition, planning, boards of directors, finance systems and business planning, fund raising, and technology.

The Amherst H. Wilder Foundation is a nonprofit health and human services organization that has served non-profits since 1906. They operate dozens of programs that help children succeed in school, older adults remain independent, troubled youth create healthy futures, and individuals and families maintain long-term housing. Wilder is not a grant-making foundation.

Finally, we also want to thank our colleagues who volunteered to review the toolkit. Many agency CEOs and CFOs provided important input. The guiding insights of The Big Brothers Big Sisters' Nationwide Leadership Council (NLC) was also instrumental.
